London Seminary is a theological college that trains church leaders. They needed a brand that would communicate their practical approach to teaching leaders, reflect their high academic standards and could be applied across a range of media including a prospectus, website, lecture posters, signage and stationery.
We created a new brand position — London Seminary is all about learning how — and then developed designs inspired by DIY manuals, shipping crates and no-frills packaging.
For the logotype I designed a customised, stencil version of Grilli Type’s Pressura. GT Pressura is inspired by type found on shipping crates. I developed the design into a full character set to use in headlines across the brand.
